At Tonkawa Assembly, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit a great experience. Here's what you can expect at our 10:30 am service.
Our church is located at 206 N. 2nd St., and parking is located to north of parsonage and south of the church and street side. We have a nursery for 4 to 5 years old.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get His approval—that comes through Jesus's sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore a tie. Shorts, jeans, and t shirts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.
A greeter or two will meet you as you come in and introduce themselves. They'll point you to the restrooms. They will try to answer any questions you have or find someone who can.
Be sure to hang around after service to meet Pastor Kelly and any other familiar face. We'd like to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.
At our 6pm service we do not have a nursery. The last Sunday of month there is not any service.
